Host the Sipp on South Lamar 400 South Lamar Boulevard, Oxford, MS 38655

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart to ensure efficient seating rotation
• Provide guests with menus and answer any questions they may have about menu items
• Take reservations and manage the reservation system
• Assist with taking food and drink orders when necessary
• Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, promotions, and restaurant events

Skills:

• Excellent guest services skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management
• Knowledge of proper phone etiquette for taking reservations and handling guest inquiries
