Restaurant Host Coordinator El Agave Mexican Bar and Grill (Tupelo, MS) 1688 Crescent Meadows Dr, Holly Springs, MS 38635 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to from the moment they enter our restaurant. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly smile and positive demeanor. Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover and guest flow. Assist guests with reservations and provide accurate wait time estimates. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and seating arrangements. Support food service operations by assisting in various tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
