JOB SUMMARY
Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive family style service to restaurant guests and Team Members.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
: Greets, and makes welcome, each guest entering restaurant. Seats guests in restaurant as per specified rotation requirements while maintaining property seating, reservations/Open Table, and monitors restaurant for table availability. Keeps designated working area clean and organized, wipes and assists in maintaining cleanliness of dining room, including cashiering area, as necessary or required, in accordance with established health and safety standards. Recognizes VIP players and relays that information to the server and/or other restaurant Team Members to ensure they receive the appropriate service or orders from the bartender. Assists wait staff and bus persons in their duties (e.g., refill water glasses and coffee cups, helps pre-bus and bus tables, attend to guest needs) as necessary, or required. Complete all assigned closing duties at end of shift. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Presents oneself in a polished, professional and service-minded way and encourages others to do the same. Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
High School diploma or equivalent.
QUALIFICATIONS
Good oral and written communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers, must be fluent and literate in English. Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability. Ability to respond calmly in stressful situations with co-workers and guests. Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation. Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., flatware, plates, cups, glasses), bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock to and from supply areas; able to reach across tables; able to stand and walk for up to four hours; able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping menus and table tops Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner. Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality. Must be flexible with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
