The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, communicating wait times to guests. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items and restaurant services. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service for all guests. Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area. Support the restaurant team in various capacities as needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette is a must. Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus but can be learned on the job. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
