Host Mayworth’s Public House 115 Center Street, Cramerton, NC 28032 Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and enhancing the overall dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservation availability. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Support the restaurant staff as needed during peak hours to enhance guest satisfaction. Skills Strong phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient order processing. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and helping guests have a memorable experience. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of restaurant operations to assist in various tasks as needed.
