In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure that all guests feel welcomed and valued. A strong background in customer service and hospitality is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient seating of guests based on their preferences and restaurant flow. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant, taking reservations, and addressing guest inquiries with excellent phone etiquette. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests effectively. Utilize Aloha POS system for reservation management and guest tracking when necessary. Provide support during busy periods by assisting with food service as needed. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not required.
