Host Kostas Kitchen 4055 Hendersonville Road, Fletcher, NC 28732 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with a positive first impression of the restaurant. Manage the seating chart, ensuring that guests are seated promptly and efficiently. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, and special events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Utilize Aloha POS system to manage reservations and waitlists effectively. Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs and ensure smooth service flow. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, reservations, and wait times. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns or feedback promptly and courteously. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for guest services and enhancing the dining experience. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
