In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with seating arrangements in our busy restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort. Take reservations and assist with walk-in guests efficiently. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and taking reservations. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role. Knowledge of guest services principles and practices is beneficial.
