1829 Cleveland Avenue | Dilworth / South End Part of the Tonidandel-Brown Restaurant Group Leluia Hall is hiring hosts to join our front desk team at one of Charlotte’s most beautiful new restaurants. Located in a restored 1914 church in the heart of Dilworth, we offer an elegant but welcoming experience centered around steak, seafood, thoughtful hospitality, and one of the city’s most ambitious wine and cocktail programs. We’re looking for people who are confident, calm, and know how to manage a room. Hosts at Leluia Hall aren’t just greeting guests at the door: they’re leading the flow of service. You’ll be the first face guests see, the one they go to with questions, and the person the service team relies on to pace the floor and keep things smooth. What You’ll Do Greet guests with genuine warmth and professionalism Manage reservations and walk-ins using Resy or Tock Directly manage the floor plan to ensure smooth pacing and even server rotation Proactively monitor table turns, guest wait times, and open communication with the service team Adjust seating as needed based on guest preferences, pacing, and floorplan flow Coordinate with management and the kitchen to balance service timing Maintain an organized and polished host stand Represent the tone and energy of the restaurant at all times What We’re Looking For Polished, positive, and poised under pressure A natural sense of flow and spatial awareness—you can manage a dining room the way a great maître d’ would Experience with reservation platforms (Tock, Resy, OpenTable, etc.) Confident communicator, both with guests and teammates Comfortable in a high-volume, high-expectation environment Evenings and weekend availability is required Why Join Us Competitive hourly wage based on experience + tip share Opportunity for growth within a respected and growing restaurant group Be part of a thoughtful and supportive team that values excellence, hospitality, and attention to detail Work in a stunning space with a creative, guest-forward culture
