Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team for primarily morning weekday shifts, but open availability for evenings and weekends as well. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating a positive dining experience.

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide menus
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
• Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met
• Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism and courtesy
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and lobby area

Requirements:

• Prior experience in guest relations or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to assist guests effectively
• Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Aloha POS
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
