Host Fin & Fino~ Rare Roots Hospitality 135 Levine Avenue Of The Arts, Charlotte, NC 28202 Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest expectations will be key to your success in this role. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. Manage the flow of guests in the restaurant, ensuring efficient seating and wait times. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism. Utilize the Aloha POS system for reservations and table management. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host area. Experience Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of POS systems like Aloha is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
