The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the seating chart to efficiently seat guests while minimizing wait times. Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant services, and special events. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest flow. Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
