Weekend Breakfast Host Hampton Inn – Cornelius Cornelius, NC 28031 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will help set the tone for each guest’s visit, making them feel valued and appreciated. Duties Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and provide them with menus. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs and special requests. Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or providing information about the menu and services offered. Assist guests with any inquiries or concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting lists. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage reservations and track guest flow efficiently. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or food service environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Excellent phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding guest services.
