Host/Hostess Coast Seafood Shack & Country Kitchen Vass, NC Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in our restaurant. Your exceptional customer service skills and hospitality knowledge will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders. Collaborate with team members to enhance guest services and overall dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Knowledge of guest relations principles and practices. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a passion for helping others are essential traits for success in this role.
