Host/Hostess Ipho Sushi & Kitchen and Bar Knightdale, NC 27545 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in managing the flow of guests, coordinating seating arrangements, and enhancing the overall dining experience. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, demonstrating excellent guest services skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials to provide accurate information to guests. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information when necessary. Experience Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members effectively. Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided. A passion for providing excellent hospitality and helping create memorable dining experiences for guests is essential.
