• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
• Provide menus to guests and explain daily specials
• Assist in seating guests according to seating chart or guest preferences
• Take reservations and manage the waitlist during peak hours
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about reservations and restaurant information
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary “`Requirements“`
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
• Familiarity with OpenTable system is a plus
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
