The Airport Diner is looking to add a couple of service professionals that are up for the challenge of ensuring the guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter the restaurant to the time they leave. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, well spoken, motivated and a team player. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right person. Host duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant Maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff Managing take out via phone and tablet Menu knowledge for taking orders and properly packaging Assisting servers with bussing tables Operate POS system Accept customer payment by cash or credit card General housekeeping duties We strive to be the employer of choice in the market by offering:
