The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements to enhance the dining experience. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating charts effectively to optimize guest flow. Communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Handle guest relations with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a passion for helping others create memorable dining experiences. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus; training will be provided as needed.
