Host The Brunch Club Rochester 150 Marketplace Blvd, Rochester, NH 03867 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued from the moment they enter our establishment. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining an efficient flow of service in a busy restaurant or hotel environment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate service and ensure guest satisfaction. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed. Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with guest relations and service needs. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and staff. Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus. Good phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere.
