The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency. Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times effectively to guests. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and answering questions regarding the restaurant. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the host stand and throughout the dining area. Utilize Resy reservation system for managing reservations and guest information efficiently. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
