Maître d Position Available In Monmouth, New Jersey

Maître d’ Salt Steakhouse 15 Morris Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740 We are seeking outgoing, organized, and professional individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Duties:

• Greet guests upon arrival, manage reservations, and ensure warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Manage waitlists and reservations using Aloha POS system
• Monitor the host station and dining area for cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Assist with table assignments and rotations to optimize service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with dining room staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure efficient service.
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and guest relations
• Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed
