Host Foxy’s Fishers Landing, NY 13641 Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your exceptional customer service skills will contribute to creating a positive dining experience, while your ability to communicate effectively will help manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements using Aloha POS or similar systems to optimize guest flow. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating and service during busy periods. Requirements Proven experience in customer service or guest relations within a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
