For this role, you should have strong communication skills; the ability to stay organized, calm and kind under pressure; and genuinely enjoy taking care of people. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience using OpenTable or Resy, multitasking while guest facing in a professional manor, and thrives working on a team. You will be interacting with dining room guests and fellow employees throughout the entirety of your shift.

Rate of Pay:

$20-22/hr Dinner shifts: 4pm-10pm; Lunch shifts (Fri-Sun only): 11am-3:45pm

Some Responsibilities Include:

Managing floor plan, ensuring efficient use of tables, monitoring seat times for accurate wait quotes, managing reservations Providing elevated hospitality – ex. help guests with menu recommendations while they wait; find opportunities to say “yes” to guests whenever possible Familiarizing yourself with guest names, details and the books prior to service Warmly greeting guests upon arrival; escorting them to their tables and providing them with menus Communicating out-times and expectations clearly, with appropriate messaging to both guests and the team; monitoring guest flow, coordinating with team to ensure smooth operations Providing servers/mgmt with guest chit (allergies, occasions, # of visits, etc) Providing guests with information about the venue, events, services Maintaining a neat and organized work station, keeping menus clean and organized Must have prior experience with Resy or OpenTable Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Pro-active communication with management regarding any issues, occasions, special requests Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for 6+ hrs The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demand of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift or carry items weighing 10-30 pounds on an occasional basis. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. Climbing steps regularly.
