You set the tone for the dining experience with your friendly smile, professional demeanor, and respectful hospitality. Knowledge of Korean cuisine and culture is essential to represent our restaurant authentically. Korean language skills are preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests warmly and sincerely as they enter the restaurant. Manage waitlist and reservations using [insert reservation system if applicable]. Seat guests in a timely and organized manner, accommodating preferences when possible. Present menus and explain basic concepts of Korean BBQ and other dishes if needed. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and entrance area. Communicate wait times accurately and clearly to guests. Coordinate with servers and kitchen to manage guest flow. Answer phones professionally and provide accurate information about hours, menus, and reservations. Handle guest concerns or complaints with grace, empathy, and prompt communication with management. Provide Korean cultural hospitality with warmth, humility, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred. Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor. Strong communication skills; Korean language ability is a plus. Understanding or appreciation of Korean food, BBQ, and dining etiquette. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Punctual and dependable with a team-oriented attitude.

Cultural Expectations:

Show respect and courtesy consistent with Korean hospitality standards Be sensitive to guests unfamiliar with Korean cuisine; offer guidance with kindness. Understand the flow of Korean BBQ dining to assist guests effectively.

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
