As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining flow. Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or restaurant services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Support guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and courteously. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS is a plus. Experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication standards.
