Host/Hostess Job Description Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff Answering phones and scheduling reservations Work well in a fast paced environment as a member of a team. Communicate effectively with other staff members and guests. Maintain a sense of urgency at all times and take initiative. Handle customer complaints or problems with a positive attitude. Be dedicated to our customers, our brand and each other.

Qualifications:

Previous work experience in a restaurant environment. Must be familiar with RESY reservation software Customer service oriented. Attentiveness and patience. Problem solving skills Responsible, dependable and punctual. Attention to cleanliness and safety. Food safety certification will be a plus. Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time. Flexible/open availability
