Trivia Host Nexus Trivia New York, NY Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and outgoing trivia host to join our team! The ideal candidate will have the ability to host a fun and exciting game and create a positive atmosphere for all players. Requirements Strong speaking skills, stage presence, and a sense of humor. Ability to host an event independently and troubleshoot any issues that may occur, remaining calm under pressure. Tech-savvy enough to operate trivia software apps and audio/visual equipment. Possession of a laptop with strong wifi capabilities. Possession of a cell phone with a strong cellular data connection. Flexibility to work 2-3 nights a week for 2 hours a night. Previous experience in customer service or event hosting is preferred.

Duties :

Host trivia nights at bars and restaurants, keeping the crowd engaged. Run the game using web-based trivia software. Read the questions in an engaging manner and correct the answers. Address player inquiries promptly and professionally. Distribute prizes and take winners’ photos. Setup and breakdown audio/visual equipment if needed.
