In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests warmly, and ensure a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. Your hospitality skills will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience. Skills Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. Strong background in food service or hospitality is highly desirable. Excellent phone etiquette to handle calls with clarity and professionalism. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
