As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly and ensure that they are seated promptly and comfortably. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role. Our service staff is a team of professionals, and every member is there to support each other. As an organization we value teaching, and promotion from within. The position consists of evening shifts; weekend availability is a must. Experience is a plus, but we will train the right individual. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the seating chart and coordinate reservations to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest relations. Experience Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant operations and food service is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Qualifications A confident and vibrant personality. Excellent multi-tasking skills and attention to detail A cooperative instinct. Must work well in fast-paced setting. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
