Host Rex at the Royal Philadelphia, PA 19146 Job Overview Rex at the Royal is seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your exceptional communication skills and commitment to guest services will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with any inquiries or requests to enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies. Uphold high standards of customer service in line with our hospitality values. Experience Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on helping guests feel welcome and valued. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
