Role:
As a Host/Hostess at Middle Child, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage the flow of guests, balancing the seating chart to optimize service efficiency while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Ultimately, your role is crucial in creating a memorable dining experience that encourages guests to return.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage service. Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and with a friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant. Manage the seating chart and assign tables to guests based on availability and party size. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the waiting area and host stand.
