The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere as they enter our establishment. This is especially important during our grand opening! This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Hostess/host will have tips in addition to their $15 per hour salary. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and with a smile as they arrive at the restaurant. Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient seating of guests while maintaining a smooth flow of service. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest needs and ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Help create a positive dining experience that encourages repeat visits. Experience Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with restaurant operations, guest services, and customer relations is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
