Lead Host Millers All Day 120 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401 Millers All Day is seeking a full-time Lead Host to join our seasoned team! This job is perfect for someone who loves customer interaction, organization and to stay busy! We are always willing to train the right people if you have the drive to learn and grow with us! We are an established full-service brunch-focused restaurant with daytime hours, are busy year round, and have dependable income! This is a daytime role with required weekend availability. We work to guarantee two days off in a role. This role is paid by the hour and includes tips from the restaurant!
Requirements:
Two years of hosting experience in a high volume establishment Experience with Yelp Guest Manager, Resy, or similar software that enables you to create floor plans and manage reservation lists Ability to work under pressure Ability to stand/walk an entire shift Ability to lift chairs and move tables as needed to accommodate guests’ needs
Guest Greeting & Seating :
Welcome guests as they arrive in a friendly and professional manner. Escort guests to their tables based on availability and preferences. Ensure the smooth seating flow, minimizing wait times and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Team Leadership & Supervision :
Train new hosts/hostesses and assist with their development. Lead by example, promoting excellent customer service standards among team members. Delegate tasks and ensure the team maintains high operational standards. Waitlist & Floor Plan Management Manage reservations and ensure that the guest list is updated and accurate. Monitor reservation timelines and communicate with servers and managers to ensure smooth transitions between guest arrivals. Help with managing dining room flow, and monitor table turnover to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.
Communication & Coordination :
Maintain clear communication with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure guests are seated promptly and efficiently. Handle any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Update the waitlist regularly, notifying guests of any delays or changes.
Guest Experience :
Ensure that guests have a positive first impression of the establishment. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entryway, and waiting areas.

Assist the restaurant management team in special events, parties, or large group bookings. Perks include a shift meal, hourly pay, plus tips $$$ are included, and you get paid EVERY Friday!
