The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize the flow of service. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and assisting with reservations. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues effectively. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Excellent verbal communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required. Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, aiding in efficient order processing. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and willingness to help create memorable experiences for guests.
