The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest relations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and managing transactions with accuracy. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in both restaurant and hotel environments. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Manage the reservation system and accommodate walk-in guests efficiently. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems, including Foodtec POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining tables. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay orders and special requests from guests. Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in training new staff members on guest relations best practices and operational procedures. Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Foodtec POS, is a plus but not required. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries over the phone. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences.
