As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and setting the tone for their experience at Pinewood Social. Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive and friendly first impression. Manage guest reservations, seating assignments, and waitlists in an efficient and organized manner. Escort guests to their tables, offer menus, and provide any relevant information about the space. Maintain a clean and orderly host stand. Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth seating and coordination for all guests. Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and take reservations when necessary. Assist with special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort. Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless experience for all guests. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, even in busy or high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a host or customer-facing role is preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for hospitality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks, such as escorting guests to their tables.
