Full Time – Host – Ole Red Nashville Opry Entertainment Group & Ryman Hospitality Properties (part of Ryman Hospitality Properties) Nashville, TN 37201 Meet, greet and seat guests with a positive, friendly, helpful attitude, providing exceptional service to all. Serve as a general source of information to all guests entering the restaurant, bar, and entertainment destination. Work with a team to ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Pay starting at $16.50/hour + Free Parking Greet all guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner. Control flow of guests coming into restaurant and those waiting for a table. Direct guests to appropriate location to wait when needed. Estimate and quote accurate wait times for tables. Seat guests at a pace maximizing service efficiency and overall operations performance. Show guests to tables, place menu on table, and wait for guests to be seated before leaving the table. Answer phones and input reservations into OpenTable, collecting the relevant guest information. Thank each guest for visiting the restaurant and invite their return in a friendly and sincere manner. Communicate any guest concerns/complaints to management. Communicate to hosts, kitchen and venue leadership ongoing logistics such as the wait time, parties of eight (8) or more, and any planned special event, and other necessary information to ensure proper flow. Attend pre-shift meetings before each shift. Perform defined opening/running/closing duties. Maintain a clean and orderly food service environment during operation and at end of shift, following sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies, focusing on both host and public areas. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow and support brand standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Experience in restaurant operations
