Mushroom Foraging Event Instructor/Host –
Contract Hoamsy Davidson County, TN Note:
We’re looking for a creative person with prior experience in foraging to host foraging walks/workshops. Hoamsy is a platform for local creators to offer unique things to do within their local communities. From cooking workshops to art and craft workshops, outdoor trips and so much more. Each experience on Hoamsy is hosted by locals, for locals. We’re looking for someone who wants to play a key role by hosting immersive experiences. We will provide all the tools you need to succeed as a Hoamsy host. Each workshop is typically 2 hours long and requires arriving 30-40 minutes early.
You will:
Select areas for foraging walks. Be able to explain what foraging is and how to practice sustainable foraging Show Guests how to identify and forage for safe, edible plants and mushrooms Address any questions as needed by Guests during an experience.
You are:
Experienced with mushroom foraging A strong communicator Passionate about teaching/guiding people through foraging classes/workshops Eligible for employment in the U.S. Atleast 21+ years old
