Host/Hostess Two Ten Jack 1110 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostless to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and maintain the flow of service in our restaurant or hotel setting. Your exceptional hospitality skills will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our patrons. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Utilize POS systems for reservation management and to assist with billing inquiries when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, particularly in food service or hotel environments. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for helping others and creating positive experiences for guests is essential. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
