The Host warmly greets all customers at the door, welcoming them to the Tomato Head.
Host responsibilities also include:
Seating customers Balancing customers among all servers Managing the waitlist and wait times Answering telephone Taking reservations Helping customers with to-go orders Communicating with servers and floor manager The typical path of advancement is to become a host trainer, support staff or server.
REQUIREMENTS
No prior experience necessary Must have excellent verbal communication skills Need to be able to remain calm under pressure Must be comfortable working on your feet for five-plus hours Be able to work a variety of shifts including day, evening and weekend shifts. A variety of day, night, evening and weekend shifts are available to fit your availability Starting pay is $7.25 per hour plus tips.
