Host/Hostess Clyde’s of Clarksville 1150 Warfield Boulevard, Clarksville, TN 37043 Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant start to their dining experience. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu offerings, wait times, and making reservations as needed. Assist with guest inquiries and provide helpful information regarding the restaurant’s services and menu items. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas. Handle guest feedback with grace, striving to resolve any issues that may arise during their visit. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, such as TOAST POS, is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to work while maintaining composure under pressure. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
