The right Host Transit Team Lead checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. Summary of Essential Functions & Responsibilities Supervise operations of a parking operations area; prepare work schedules, training outlines, team lead reports, and process payroll on a weekly basis. Assist Senior Team Lead/Supervisor by making them aware of disciplinary action recommendations. Complete and issue Performance Appraisals. Assist Senior Team Lead/Supervisor with the information needed to respond to guests’ written and verbal comments. Responsible for interviewing candidates for the Parking Team. Operate your area(s) within budget. Ensure areas/hosts have required equipment and supplies. Identify and develop future Safety Trainers. Complete daily written reports and maintain ongoing host journals. Interact with and build positive relationships with other departments. Report all unsafe acts to appropriate management. Assuming Parking Team Member and/or Safety Trainer responsibilities when needed. Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time. Educational and Experience Required Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance. May be required to provide a copy of personal driving record from home state. Must have less than three (3) traffic violations on record in the last three (3) years. Must not have a DUI conviction in the past 15 years on record. Must be able to poses 20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses). Ability to speak in front of small and large groups of peers. Basic computer skills. Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance for use of company vehicles. Prior experience training or leading a staff of 30+ employees. Parking or transportation experience preferred. Sales experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Able to project Dollywood’s image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in their work. Must be self-motivated and disciplined. Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis. Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information. Ability to understand and apply basic math skills for use in budgets, schedules and time sheets. Ability to take initiative, self-supervising. Able to memorize written safety standards and/or scripts. Ability to read/write, comprehend instructions and communicate in English.
