Your role is crucial in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will manage the flow of guests into the restaurant, maintain seating charts, and assist in creating a memorable experience for all patrons. Your communication skills and hospitality mindset will be key to fostering positive guest relations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with accurate wait times. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items and restaurant services. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing guest check-ins and tracking waitlists. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Help resolve any guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner. Provide support during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food service operations or hospitality is a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
