Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host that must be able to work Saturday and Sunday morning or nightshifts. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties:

• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude upon arrival
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus
• Assist with seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences and group sizes
• Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner
• Support other front-of-house duties as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred
• Knowledge of food service industry practices and procedures
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus,
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
