In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items to guests in a hotel or restaurant setting. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service will ensure that our guests start their day off right. Duties Prepare and present a variety of breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout service hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives for food preparation and cash registers for processing guest transactions. Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing recommendations and accommodating dietary restrictions as needed. Monitor food inventory levels, restocking items as necessary to ensure a continuous supply of fresh offerings. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with culinary techniques, including meat cutting and food preparation skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members. Must be able to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
