Job Summary :
As the first point of contact for our members, it is crucial that the Front Desk Opener is consistently punctual and dependable in opening the facility on time and ensuring that everything is running smoothly. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can be counted on to complete tasks accurately and efficiently, and is committed to maintaining a high standard of service for our members.
Responsibilities :
Opens the fitness center promptly at 5:00 am Monday through Friday Ensures all cash deposits are handled accurately and securely. Ensures towels are clean, stocked, and available for members. Prepares and stocks Juice Bar ingredients and equipment for the day. Greets members in a friendly and professional manner. Ensures members and guests check in appropriately. Assists members with account issues and answer general questions. Complete regular cleaning tasks throughout the fitness center. Counts inventory and reports any discrepancies to management. Performs additional tasks as needed.
Physical Demands :
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead. Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment. Must be able to work in noisy environment.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fitness or hospitality environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle cash deposits and manage inventory. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be punctual and reliable.
