We are seeking a vibrant and courteous Front Desk Agent to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Gainesville, FL I-75. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the warm and welcoming face of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service to our valued guests.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a genuine smile and create a positive first impression upon their arrival. Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to their satisfaction. Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, enhancing their stay with valuable recommendations. Manage reservations and room assignments with attention to detail and precision. Process payments and maintain financial records accurately. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Embrace feedback and continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required. Outstanding communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, resolving conflicts with diplomacy. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using FOSSE is a plus, but not required. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
