Guest Service Agent/Front Desk Agent La Quinta Inn & Suites I-95 Deerfield Beach 100 SW 12th Avenue, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience from check-in to check-out. You will handle guest inquiries, manage reservations, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures. Answer phone calls promptly using professional phone etiquette, addressing guest inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations in the hotel management system. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Experience Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred. Familiarity with guest services in a hotel or resort setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in phone systems and strong phone etiquette skills are essential. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Experience with night audit processes is beneficial but not required.
