We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment. A background in hotels is preferred, as well as experience with guest services and being in a busy environment. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services, room availability, and rates while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring their needs are met during their stay. Maintain knowledge of local restaurants and services to provide recommendations to guests. Handle reservations through various systems, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are clean and ready for occupancy, must be a team player. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in phone systems and computer software related to hotel management. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with international guests. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
