PM Evening Desk Agent Holiday Inn Express Holiday Inn Express and Suites Punta Gorda Punta Gorda, FL 33950
Shifts:
Primarily 3-11PM Variable, with availability for night audit coverage as needed.
Position Overview:
As a Guest Service Professional, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring smooth internal operations. Responsibilities Manage all front desk activities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage register and ensure correct billing and routing Manage online, phone and walk-in reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data Correctly register guests Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to guest requests Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs Inspect rooms and common areas, and enforce rules Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services Sell meeting spaces and coordinate with event planners Provide friendly guidance on area attractions and amenities Stock marketplace Receive and count inventory Enroll rewards members Ensure rewards members are recognized Manage and respond to guest requests Cross-train night audit Work night audit upon request Cross-train other departments including breakfast and laundry Assist managers with daily duties Support your team Work to ensure every stay is a GREAT stay!
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused with a passion for providing exceptional service. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Organizational skills. Desire to learn and grow. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, ability to work holidays, nights and weekends. Computer proficiency and experience with hotel management software is a plus. Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
